Have you ever stumbled upon something that you would like to download? Perhaps it was a cool program, or maybe it was a collection of photos. Well, I'm here to help. If you are new to the Internet, and would like to try some downloading action of your own, then this OnePC Guide is perfect for you. I'm going take you step by step into the process of downloading, and, sooner or later, you will be a true downloader at heart.

Downloading is the process where data is transfered from another computer to your computer. When you click on that link to download that file, you are basically telling the other computer to send you that file so you can view it for yourself. Downloading anything basically follows these general steps:

  1. Creating a special "Downloads" folder
  2. Finding what to download
  3. Saving the file
  4. Opening the file
  5. Deleting the file
That's it! In 5 easy steps, you can download just about anything you find on the 'net. So, without furthur a do, let's get started!
