Deleting the File

Now that you have used that file that you just downloaded, you can now delete it. This step is not necessarily needed for all of you, but I suggest you get into the habit of deleting files which you won't need later on just so you won't eat up your hard disk space with all of your many downloads in the future. Of course, you don't always have to do this, but for the most part, you want to delete these downloaded files so they won't take up precious space on your computer. Don't worry though, this step is nice and short.

To do this, open up Windows Explorer and navigate to your Downloads folder (you should already know how to do this by now). Find the file which you just downloaded, making sure you don't accidentally click on something else, and simply press the Delete button on your keyboard. Windows will ask you if you're sure you want to do this, and just click "Yes."
