What's Inside
So, you've decided that it's not worth it to upgrade that clunker of a computer of yours, and want to get a new system altogether. Where do you start? What do you look for in a computer to satisfy your own needs, and not the needs of the salesman who sold it to you?

Conclusion

Wow! We have gone through a lot in this looooong guide (11,000 words combined for both part 1 and 2, and still going!). From the basic components such as the CPU, the motherboard and memory, to certain luxuries such as 4-point surround speakers and cordless keyboards and mice, I certainly feel that I've covered as much as I could in this 2-part guide. I felt that it was not necessary for me to include other components such as printers and scanners as they're a whole new ball game on their own, and really are at the blurring point where computing and the office meet. Instead, I focused more on the core computer components that make a computer work and make the user feel comfortable. Of course, there are bound to be other components that I have not mentioned such as radio tuners or even TV tuners, but, again, those are not, at least by myself, considered to be "core" computer components, so I decided to leave them out.

With the speed that technology is advancing, I'm sure that this guide will eventually be outdated (even with the amount of detail and anticipation that I have placed in this guide), but you can be sure that the people here at OnePC.NET will be bringing you many new guides sometime down the road of time to cover those new technologies; it's your job to check back often to read about them! Anyways, until next time, happy component-shopping!
